About Me
I am an attorney, freelance writer and aspiring broadcast journalist. For the past eight years, I worked as an intellectual property litigation associate for two nationally known law firms. I focused my practice on trademark, patent and other technology-focused commercial litigation matters. Aiding in the successful representation of a number of Fortune 500 clients, I was a part of litigation teams that represented a major home appliance manufacturer, one of the world’s largest package delivery companies, as well as a number of pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
Although I enjoy the practice of law, I am blessed to have found my true passion– broadcast journalism. Currently, I am in my second semester of Temple University’s Masters in Journalism program. I am extremely excited about the future and hope to bring to fruition my lifelong dream of working as a journalist.
Originally from Capitol Heights, Maryland, I am a graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication and Howard University School of Law. I believe in hard work, being honest and living with passion. I love to travel, make wine with my husband Kevin and experience new adventures.
